George Benson (born March 22, 1943) is a multi-Grammy Award winning American musician, whose production career began at the age of twenty-one as a jazz guitarist.
Benson first came to prominence in the 1960s playing soul jazz with the likes of Jack McDuff. Benson then launched a successful solo career, alternating between jazz, pop, R&B singing, and scat singing. This one-time child prodigy topped theBillboard 200 in 1976 with the triple-platinum album, Breezin', He was also a major live attraction in the UK during the 1980s and continues to attract a large following today. Benson uses a rest-stroke picking technique similar to that of gypsy jazzplayers such as Django Reinhardt.

Funda Arar was born in 1975 in Ankara, capital of Turkey. When her musical talent was discovered, she took mandolin training. Afer she graduated from college, she released a number of solo albums, as well as several collaborative albums with Kiraç. Her last album was released in 2006: Son Dans (Last Dance). Her repertory consists of a mixture of old popular pop/anatolian rock songs, new popular songs with lyrics drawn from famous Turkish poets, as well as songs she wrote herself.

Sibel first rose to fame as she started off as a professional belly-dancer. Dancing was not the only activity she engaged in during her time at work, she had also been known to sing and so she would eventually shift her career direction into singing instead. These first stepping stones into the music industry would eventually make her be one of Turkey's most famous Arabesque artists. The achievements to her music would cause her to be a successful artist within this genre, as her voice has also become well familiar for Turks of all generations.

He received a gold disc in 1976 for Mélissa, and was named Singer of Peace by UN Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim in 1980. In 1997, Kofi Annan named him Roving Ambassador for Peace and the Defence of Children.
